One final announcement for our poets: We're currently talking to our sponsor organization about putting together a compilation of our work. Anyone who competes in a slam this season is eligible to have his or her pieces published in our first official chapbook. We're not certain that we'll be able to put it out, but things are looking up right now.
Thanks so much to all our supporters in the community, for all that you've done. The last eighteen months would have been impossible without your help. Our membership is a little unstable lately though, so please continue your support by sharing all this information with teachers/friends/writers.

The Palatine Poetry Slam is a completely supportive and safe atmosphere for absolutely anyone to speak his or her mind uncensored. Our stage has brought in some of the most talented poets in the country (as our monthly feature), but more importantly has given hundreds of people, primarily teenagers, a place to share their writing with one another.
Admission is just three dollars for students and five dollars for adults.
